How is Micro TESE Surgery Performed?

Micro TESE, which is mostly performed under general anesthesia, can also be performed under local anesthesia in some cases. Micro TESE surgery is completed in an average of one hour. The patient does not feel pain during the operation. With the help of a special microscope, the testicular area is magnified 20-25 times. In this way, sperm channels are viewed in more detail, and sperm are searched by scanning in detail.

Tissue samples taken as a result of the search are subject to some processes and live sperm cells are separated. The separated living cells are then used in the microinjection process.

Viable sperm cells obtained as a result of the micro TESE method are stored by freezing.
